The DIY-but-inedible cake

Pinda’s birthday on March 20! Heh.. just in time for us to put all the skills we’ve learnt to use.. Our colleagues creamed the surface layer (the one we did was quite a flop =/) and wrote ‘Happy’, Siewlee made the cake sides and the rest of the words, and I made all the flowers and leaves! Nice right? If we didn’t say, you would have thought it was bought from the shop
hor.. =X
Anyway we started the day by making the cake for Pinda. Erm. If you’re asking why it’s all pink and probably looks more suited for a girl.. er.. that’s because we only had the pink piping cream available =X (the flower is coloured using some spray thing, not blue cream). And Samuel as usual, 1. Said my flowers looked like cabbage and 2. Only contribution to the cake are the pictures he took of it.
In the end, we didn’t eat the cake – too much cream!!. Just blew the candles and cut it and now left it on display in their room. It’s strawberry jam cake by the way. More points for a girlish cake.
